Fall Turkey Hunting — 2026 Season
Experience the thrill of fall turkey hunting in the Maine woods with Libby’s Lodge & Canty’s. The season runs from September 14 through November 7, 2026, when wild turkeys will be on the move — you choose the type of hunt and the day(s) that work best for your hunt when you book online below.
In the fall, Toms are not as aggressive as they are in spring, so we set up in feeding locations to stalk these birds. Two turkeys can be harvested in certain zones per season. In northern zones, we have an annual limit of one bird per spring and fall season. During fall, a hen can be harvested.

Booking Options
DIY Fall Turkey Hunt
For experienced hunters who prefer to hunt independently. Includes meals and lodging. DIY hunters bring all their own equipment and will use the OnX app (available on the App Store), where you’ll have access to pinned locations across approved hunting areas. Prices are PER HUNTER PER DAY. A retainer equal to one day is required to make a reservation and is applied to the total cost. Maine state taxes and the balance due are payable upon check-in.

Guided Fall Turkey Hunt Only
For hunters who want local knowledge, strategy, and a fully immersive fall turkey experience. On guided hunts, we take you into proven areas well before sunrise and set you up with camouflage and decoys as the woods come alive at first light. At sunrise, calling techniques are used. A retainer equal to one day is required to make a reservation and is applied to the total cost. Maine state taxes and the balance due are payable upon check-in. NO MEALS/LODGING. Prices are PER HUNTER PER DAY.
