2024 GUIDED MAINE MOOSE HUNTING
Numerous hours are spent scouting trophy moose and tracking moose movements.
We hunt for moose in zones 1, 2, 3, 5 ,6, 10 and 11, providing many options for you to hunt. Since the moose lottery began, we've had a 100% opportunity and success rate.
With the assistance of a personal guide, you will hunt for a moose by means of stalking and calling. You can choose to take your moose with a rifle or bow.
We can also take you on a canoe/pack-out moose hunt. This is where you find a large trophy moose in an area, harvest them in the field, then pack the meat and horns out in the canoe...a little old school hunting. After a successful hunt, your moose is kept in our walk-in cooler unit. Your harvested game will be kept cool to prevent slippage and meat spoiling.
The 2023 season dates for moose hunting are shown in the chart below. They will be updated for 2024 when the state publishes them.
ACCOMMODATIONS FOR HUNTERS
LL&C offers spacious accommodations for the members of your hunting party during your 7-night/6-day hunting package in our lodge building, plus we have access to remote off-grid cabins in specialized hunting zones. Plan to arrive at the lodge mid-afternoon for check-in. You'll enjoy home-cooked meals throughout your stay. We like to welcome our hunters the night of their arrival with a Maine surf and turf dinner (lobster when it's available, steak or chicken and blueberry pie) while you get acquainted with your fellow hunters. Be sure to check out our Hall of Fame trophy wall in the lodge dining room. We make our boats and canoes available during non-hunting hours if you'd like to do some fishing.
